Congratulations on your new role at Berea College! To assist with your transition to our community, the College provides a relocation allowance for eligible new staff members. This benefit is designed to help offset the costs associated with moving your household to the Berea area.
Eligibility & Guidelines
The Two-Year Commitment
Berea College invests in your long-term success. By accepting the relocation allowance, you agree to remain employed with the College for at least two years.
If you choose to resign within two years of your hire date, you will be required to repay the gross amount (the full amount before taxes were withheld) on the following schedule:
Note: Involuntary separations (except for termination for cause) do not trigger the repayment requirement.
How to Request Funds
The relocation allowance is processed as a lump sum on the first available pay date after the required documentation is approved.
